Yesterday night, or rather today morning I was being a good girl going revising my Korean language online lessons when suddenly I saw something black on my wrist. I flung my wrist and something dropped onto the table and crackled... Big, black, with long thin feelers and spiny legs...
!@#$%&...
My first reaction was: "FUCK YOU GET OUT!!!" *Blow blow blow swat swat swat...
It wouldn't budge.
So I sat on the bed watching it crawl all over my table. chair, printer... Really wanted to get a slipper and mash it but I'd dirty everything... And I'd be risking that it would get alarmed and fly...
If there is anything worse than a flying roach... No, there's nothing worse than a flying roach...
Imagining pokemon battle scene:
Wild cockroach appeared. Wild cockroach used fly. It's super effective... Human fainted.
So all I could do was sit there keep an eye on it and make sure it doesn't disappear... Oh OK now you can add disappearing cockroach on the "Worst things that can happen" list...
It got to a point I was going to pull all my hair out, run around in circles and scream. It was sitting still on my printer, so I went to the kitchen, got a glass, went back into the room. Thank coconuts it was still there on my printer. I crept up and tried to trap it with the glass. But unfortunately my aim was poor...
Luckily it didn't go far, and after some nudging and banging of chairs onto the printer, it went back up where I could catch it and I quickly cupped the glass over it, slipped a piece of paper underneath, took it to the toilet, let it crawl into the toilet bowl, flush, and laugh triumphantly. No actually it was more like...
Ahh... How nostalgic, I once disposed of another roach like this, 9 years ago... Besides the fact that the roach I sent swimming was a tiny little roach, not a big, black one...
Took me one whole hour to get rid of one fucking cockroach... And that night after the not so epic battle, I was not able to sleep, until 5 a.m....
