The Misadventures Down Under: ZOO TRIP!!!

Exams over, 5 weeks holidays started. So me and my uni mates finally went to the zoo, as planned on the last day of exams. Luckily the weather was nice, sunny blue sky although the weather forecast was kinda crappy and quite a scare.

Lovely blue sky, but all the trees are bald because it's winter...

Nothing much to say, animals, animals and more animals. I won't bother saying much because it will sound like those 动物园一游 essays we used to write in primary school...

Elephants are posers. They just pose when they know we're taking pictures...

This smart fella is tipping out food from his feeding can... That black thing is a feeding can filled with peanuts. The peanuts fall out and he picks them up and eats them.

This is a peacock's upskirt... Oh shit, busted...

Wombat :) The rest were all hiding underground and staring at us through glass panels.

Emu, the second largest bird in the world by height after the ostrich.

This is a wallaby, which looks like a small kangaroo. The kangaroos were too busy with their business to come over...

The emus, wallabies and kangaroos were in a sort of walk through enclosure so we could get really close to them. It wasn't until we were almost out of the walk through when we saw a sign saying we shouldn't cross over the log boundaries oops...

These are peccaries. They look like pigs, sound like pigs, but are not pigs.

And my phone went dead halfway so couldn't get any photos of the reptiles, amphibians, seals, marine life, platypus and penguins... T___T We'll leave that to next time then...
